Funding is now available to support emergency response organizations across Nova Scotia.
Volunteer fire departments, ground search and rescue teams, hazardous materials units, and other first responder organizations are invited to apply to the Emergency Services Provider Fund.
This program helps equip the people who keep our communities safe by supporting the purchase of essential tools used in fire suppression and emergency response.
“First responders are the backbone of emergency response in our province,” said Kim Masland. “This funding will help them continue their critical work protecting Nova Scotians.”

Individual funding stream:
• Up to $30,000 per organization
• Applications open June 1 and close July 31
Regional funding stream:
• Up to $200,000 for larger, collaborative projects
