Big news for Hammonds Plains–Lucasville!

I’m pleased to share that the Upper Hammonds Plains Community Development Association is receiving $20,900 through the Recreation Facility Development Program to replace its septic system and septic bed.

Community spaces are where neighbours connect, local events happen, and lasting relationships are built. Investments like this help ensure that important gathering places can continue serving residents for years to come.

This funding is part of the Province’s broader $3.1 million investment supporting 85 projects across Nova Scotia, helping strengthen recreation facilities and community spaces that keep our communities healthy and vibrant.

Thank you to everyone at the Upper Hammonds Plains Community Development Association for the work you do to support local residents and bring people together.
