A reminder for seniors in our community: applications for the Property Tax Rebate for Seniors Program open on July 1.
This program helps eligible low-income seniors with the cost of municipal residential property taxes. Qualified homeowners may receive 50% of the property taxes paid last year, up to a maximum rebate of $800.
Application forms will be available:

• At Access Nova Scotia offices
• By phone:
HRM: 902-424-5200
Outside HRM: 1-800-670-4357
Seniors who received the rebate last year will automatically be mailed an application to reapply.
