Sustainable Groundwater for Rural Communities

Last week I attended the “Sustainable Groundwater for Rural Communities” meeting at the Upper Hammonds Plains Community Centre, where Dalhousie University’s Coastal Hydrology Lab shared important information about how climate change is impacting local drinking water sources.

As a resident of Hammonds Plains, where most of our communities rely on wells, this information is especially relevant. For anyone relying on a well or concerned about drought or flooding affecting their water supply, these insights are valuable.
