The nomination period for the 2026 Nova Scotia Medal of Bravery is now open.
Each year, this award, the highest recognition for bravery in our province, honours Nova Scotians who have demonstrated exceptional courage and selflessness, often putting themselves at risk to save others or protect property.
If you know someone in your community who has gone above and beyond in a moment of crisis, now is the time to put their name forward.
