The 2026 Census is coming!
Starting May 4, households across Canada will begin receiving their census invitation in the mail, including a Secure Access Code and simple instructions on how to complete the questionnaire.
Why does it matter? Census data plays a vital role in shaping our communities. It helps ensure governments and local leaders have the information they need to plan services, support growth, and respond to the real needs of residents.
Your privacy is protected – all information is collected under the Statistics Act and kept strictly confidential.
