Today in the Legislature, I had the pleasure of recognizing Hammonds Plains resident and young entrepreneur Jack of JACKS Skate Sharpening Shop.
Jack has built a growing business offering affordable skate sharpening and gear for local hockey and figure skaters. Along the way, he has developed valuable skills in customer service, pricing, and marketing – earning the trust of the community while balancing school and personal goals.
His initiative is a great example of the drive and entrepreneurial spirit we see in so many young Nova Scotians. Supporting youth-led businesses like Jack’s helps foster innovation, confidence, and future success right here at home.
