The More Opportunity for Skilled Trades and Occupations (MOST) program is helping young Nova Scotians build rewarding careers while keeping more money in their pockets.
Eligible workers under 30 in skilled trades, nursing, and film and video occupations can receive a refund of the provincial income tax paid on the first $50,000 of eligible employment income.
By investing $24.7 million to continue the program, our PC government is supporting the workers who are building homes and infrastructure, strengthening healthcare, and growing Nova Scotia’s creative industries.
If you’re eligible, be sure to apply after filing your tax return and receiving your Canada Revenue Agency notice of assessment. Applications for the 2025 tax year are due June 30, 2027.
