Recently I attended both Lucasville Greenway Society engagement sessions at the The Wallace Lucas Community Centre regarding the potential Lucasville Greenway.
This initiative would be funded via an HRM Active Transportation Area Rate on your municipal property tax bill of 2.1 cents / $100 capped home assessment value, which would be applicable only to homes in the Lucasville area. It was an informative meeting, with lots of questions and concerns raised.
