Today, we stand with the many individuals in our community and across Nova Scotia who live with endometriosis – a chronic and often invisible condition that affects 1 in 10 people of reproductive age. For far too many, the journey to diagnosis is long, painful, and filled with moments of not being heard.
This month is about listening, learning, and lifting up the voices of those who live with this condition every day. It’s about advocating for earlier diagnosis, better access to care, improved research funding, and compassionate support systems.
If you or someone you love is living with endometriosis, please know: you are not alone, your pain is real, and your experiences matter.
Let’s continue to push for awareness, understanding, and meaningful action – not just in March, but all year long.
