Nova Scotians can now track the progress of public housing projects happening across the province through the new Public Housing for Nova Scotians website launched by Build Nova Scotia.
The website provides updates on individual projects, information about the planning and construction process, and details about the province’s ongoing investment in public housing.
According to the Province:
515 public housing units have been committed across Nova Scotia
289 units are currently underway or complete
164 units are in planning and design
82 units are under construction
43 units are complete
As part of the Province’s five-year housing plan, Our Homes, Action for Housing, the government is investing $251 million toward these projects.
