VE Day marks a moment in history when the Second World War in Europe came to an end. Today, we remember the service and sacrifice of those who fought for freedom and honour the memory of those who did not return home. We pay special tribute to the thousands of Nova Scotians who answered the call to serve, whose bravery and dedication played a vital role in the war effort.
