It was an honour to recognize Dragonz Martial Artz Centre inc in the Legislature for their second annual Walk With Me 5K Walkathon on August 15th.
This event was about much more than a walk. It brought families, students, volunteers, and community partners together to support local children and families preparing to return to school.
Through the event, East Coast Dragonz worked to provide 50 fully stocked backpacks of school supplies to local children and families through The Salvation Army. I want to thank the Dragonz team, their students, volunteers, and community partners for putting service into action and showing young people the importance of giving back.
Thank you to East Coast Dragonz for helping build a stronger community, one child and one family at a time.
