Happy 25th anniversary to the Tantallon Public Library
I stopped by today to join the celebration and present a certificate of recognition on behalf of the residents of Hammonds Plains-Lucasville. For 25 years this branch has been a gathering place for families, readers and learners of every age. Thank you to the staff, volunteers and supporters who make it such an important part of our community.
If you haven’t been in lately, take a look at the events board. There’s something on almost every week, from storytimes and science challenges for kids to book clubs, knitting, crafts and Friday afternoon games for adults, plus a caregiver support group and a reading program pairing teen volunteers with younger kids. Most are free, and some need registration, so call 902-826-3330 or drop by the Info Desk.
Here’s to the next 25 years.
