We join Nova Scotians in mourning the passing of former Premier Dr. John Hamm.
Dr. Hamm dedicated his life to public service, leaving a lasting mark on our province. His government’s historic investment in NSCC helped expand campuses, modernize facilities, and create more opportunities for students pursuing skilled trades and in-demand careers – an investment that continues to strengthen Nova Scotia’s workforce today.
He is also remembered for restoring stability to the province’s finances, championing improvements to healthcare, and leading with a deep commitment to the people of Nova Scotia.
His legacy will be felt for generations through the students, tradespeople, healthcare professionals, and communities that continue to benefit from his vision and leadership.
