The 2026 Census of Population begins May 4.
Led by Statistics Canada, the census provides important data that helps inform decisions about services, infrastructure, and representation in our communities.
Households will receive a letter in the mail with a Secure Access Code and instructions to complete the census online. All responses are collected under the Statistics Act and kept strictly confidential.
You can help by sharing information and encouraging participation. Resources are available through the Community Supporter Toolkit, and updates can be shared using #2026Census.
