As we prepare Nova Scotia’s 2027–28 provincial budget, I want to encourage residents to share what matters most to them and their families.
Health care, housing, education, and seniors’ care are just some of the services shaped by provincial budget decisions. A new interactive tool allows you to build and submit your own provincial budget, explore the choices involved, and see where you believe resources should be prioritized.
The central session will be held at Halifax Forum, Halifax from 7 – 9 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
You can also join an upcoming virtual session to learn more about the Province’s financial picture and the decisions involved in building a budget.
Upcoming virtual sessions:
-September 23, 6:30–8:30 p.m. – French session
-October 2, 2–4 p.m.
-October 6, 6:30–8:30 p.m.
Can’t attend a session? You can still participate online by building and submitting your own budget.
Your feedback will help inform the next provincial budget, and a public report will share what was heard.
