I’m pleased to share an upcoming community event that offers a great opportunity for older adults, families, and caregivers to connect with local services, organizations, and resources.
The 2026 Halifax Aging Your Way Expo, hosted by Remember When HealthCare, is taking place:
Saturday, October 17, 2026
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Cedar Events Centre, Halifax
Free admission, including all presentations
The expo is designed to make it easier to discover the programs and services available locally and find information to help people stay active, connected, and independent as they age.
Throughout the day, there will be free presentations covering topics including:
-Library resources and services
-Navigating family conversations around senior care
-Recognizing scams and protecting yourself from fraud
-Brain wellness and hearing health
-Financial planning
-A participatory Dance to Move class
There will also be opportunities to meet local professionals, ask questions, and learn about resources you may not know are available.
