Nova Scotia has launched a new online portal to make it easier to manage your health coverage and access key services.
MSI Online allows eligible residents to update their information, renew their health card, register for Pharmacare programs, and submit forms or inquiries – now all in one place. The service is available to Nova Scotians aged 19 and older with a valid health card who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
Through MSI Online or the YourHealthNS app, you can:
• Renew or replace your health card
• Update your address and contact information
• Register for Seniors’ or Family Pharmacare programs
• Sign up for email notifications (like renewal reminders)
• Update organ and tissue donation preferences
• Opt in to medical research opportunities
• Submit forms and contact MSI electronically
While many services are now digital, some items – like cheques and certain letters – will continue to be sent by mail.
